Noor Inayat Khan Timeline
11 September 1944, Pforzheim Prison, Germany
Entire body tied in fetters, she was hungry from above for many days. German soldiers rated him as the most dangerous prisoner. The feeling of torture for many days could be seen in her eyes, for many days she was alone in this dungeon. The name of this girl was recorded in the register as “Nora Baker”, but the real name of this girl with a foreign name was Noor Inayat Khan.
Noor was remembering the moments of her life in the dungeons of that German dungeon, hearing the tone of the veena who had been her closest companion since childhood. His father’s lap, mother’s support, everything was spinning in front of his eyes and a voice was echoing in his ears, “Babuli”.
Babuli used to call Pir Inayat Khan Noor by this name. Even after being away from the country, children retained their soil identity, so the atmosphere of the house was completely Indian. Fazal Manzil was built on the outskirts of Paris, everything was Indian in this house.
Pir Inayat Khan was a descendant of Tipu Sultan, but he was fond of music, not sword. And this hobby took him abroad and he met “Ora Ray Baker” during his trip to America. With whom he married, Noor was the fourth child of Inayat and Ora.
To Whom Noor Inayat Khan is known by the whole world as a Brave Detective, his first love was music, after the death of his father at the age of 13, the entire responsibility of the family fell on Noor. Noor gave the love of both mother and father to her siblings, she used to run her family by writing stories of children.

Such a turning point was about to come in Noor’s life, after which she became the biggest enemy of Hitler’s German army.
The story of Noor Inayat Khan is the ultimate example of the power of a woman, a girl who falls in love with the sweet melody of music, amidst bullets and bombs. Having the power to destroy the enemy’s camp, Noor stunned the Nazi army with the power of his mind and skills and became Hitler’s worst enemy.

Noor Inayat Khan alias 2nd world war
The Second World War had begun, after the conquest of Poland, Germany’s armies were now moving to occupy France. Noor’s family, who were in Fazal Manzil on the outskirts of Paris, had also left their home and reached England, as Allied forces were trying to liberate France. Noor and his younger brother Vilayat were suffering from the loss of their country.
Both were determined that they would free France from enemy occupation, Noor was a citizen of England but her legacy was close to France. History is witness that France had helped Tipu Sultan in the war with the British, but now after 150 years, it was Tipu Sultan’s great-granddaughter Noor to repay the favour. Noor eventually decided to join the army to help France, Vilayat joined the Royal Navy in England, and on 19 November 1940, Noor also became part of the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.
He got the job of wireless operator here, after two whole years Noor was given a big responsibility which was very dangerous. Noor became a part of the Special Operations Executive’s team and became an England spy, in those days the SOE team used to carry out many dangerous tasks and after joining this group, its members could only live for four to six weeks. But Noor was ready to take any risk to teach a lesson to Nazi Germany.
16 June 1943
World War II was in full swing, the Nazi flag was flying all over Paris, and Hitler’s spies were on the move. In such an environment, on the outskirts of Paris, Britain brought a female spy named Nora Baker into the dark of night.
This Nora Baker was none other than Noor Inayat Khan, this was the new name of Noor in the world of espionage. She had returned here after about 3 years of leaving the house, but this time she was not a fragile door but an undercover agent of SOE whose mission was to break into the enemy’s fort.
The first thing he did as soon as he landed on the outskirts of Paris was to do a reconnaissance of the surroundings. After getting everything safe, he started his journey in search of some good place. It is a matter of luck that he saw some ruins nearby. She went there, opened the suitcase, opened the wireless set and sent a message that she had safely reached the enemy.
She knew that the Gestapo patrols were leaving with wireless set detection devices mounted on the motors, so she quickly put it back in the suitcase and headed for the place where her companions could find her, who had already expected her to come. The news had been sent. Soon Noor became a spy, in Paris Noor carried out espionage feats that shook Hitler.
Thanks to Noor, more than one intelligence of Germany started reaching the Allies, which was the reason why Noor’s name came at the top of Hitler’s most dreaded army ‘Gestapo‘ Most Wanted List.
How was Noor Inayat Khan found and captured in Paris
Meanwhile, a member of the British espionage team was caught and he gave the names of all the associates including all Noor. Everyone was caught, but Noor did not come to the Gestapo. She kept on doing her work by hiding, the enemy was after her but still, she did not come under his grip. The British and Franciscan officers advised Noor to leave Paris, but how could she be scared in whose veins the blood of Tipu Sultan runs.
Noor did not stop playing with dangers, but Noor could not survive for long. Eventually, she was caught by the Gestapo and it was from here that the period of Nur Inayat Khan’s trial began, but Tipu Sultan’s blood does not give up so easily. He fights and lays down his life for his mission, this is what Noor proved.
Noor, who had become Hitler’s worst enemy, was now in the hands of the Nazis, he was given the status of the most dangerous prisoner. Brave spy Noor had much important information, Gestapo tortured Noor but could not open his tongue. There were two more British spies in the rooms adjacent to the torture chamber in Paris in which he was confined.
Noor was a cunning and brave spy, she did not lose heart and made a dangerous plan with the British spies locked with her. One day the path was prepared by breaking the bars of the skylight and that night also came when the three spies including Noor escaped from the jail, but luck was not with Noor.
The Gestapo came to know of his exit and he was captured again, the series of tortures on Noor resumed, but the Nazi officials were so afraid of Noor that they sent him to Germany. In early 1944, he was brought to the Pforzheim prison in Germany, where he too was severely tortured.
During this, he was also prosecuted, the verdict was known to all. After keeping her here for about 10 months, she was dispatched from here on September 1, Noor saw the world for the last time in this journey as no one ever returned from the place she was being taken.

Once again a period of torture ensued, every night she was hit with the butt of her shoes, but Noor endured everything but did not open her mouth.
